Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 300 ml Canada, 14 oz US sweetened condensed milk (full-fat recommended)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or hard margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups dried coconut fine or medium cut (unsweetened)
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • Additional graham cracker crumbs and coconut flakes for rolling

Instructions
 

Combine Wet Ingredients:

  • In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter and combine it with the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well-blended.

Add Dry Ingredients:

  • Gradually mix in the graham cracker crumbs, dried coconut, and chocolate chips. Stir thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Chill the Mixture:

  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for about 1 hour, or until firm enough to handle.

Roll into Balls:

  • Once chilled, scoop out small portions of the mixture (about 1 1/4 inches in diameter) and roll them into balls.

Coat the Balls:

  • Roll each ball in additional graham cracker crumbs or coconut flakes for a decorative finish.

Chill Again:

  • Place the rolled balls on a tray or plate and return them to the fridge for another 30 minutes to firm up completely.

Store or Serve:

  • Transfer the chilled cookie balls to an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
